Leba is an old fishing village located by the sea and between two lakes. It has wonderful wide sandy beaches and fishing and yacht marinas.
The place is famous for 'moving' sand dunes up to 40 meters high. This wonder of nature can be admired from the 5km walking trail across the area that is protected within the national park.
Leba has perfect conditions for windsurfing and even hosts annual European windsurfing competition.
Other attractions in Leba include 30 km of picturesque cycling routes including one by the lake, boat trips on fishing trawlers, fishing and diving expeditions, visiting the lighthouse and horse riding.
There is a museum in the old German bunker from the WWII, mini ZOO, the birds enclosure and a private collection of butterflies with over 3000 specimens collected by two generations of the family.
The nearest airport is in Gdansk. From there you take a train (SKM) to Lebork (1.5 hours). From Lebork you can take a coach or taxi to Leba (30km).
